Fruit prices sky rocketed in pakistan  Karachi on the first of Ramadan

There is no one to restrain the big sellers in Ramadan, the prices of fruits and green spices have gone up in different bazaars, relief has not been found but expensive items have started appearing in the bazaars. Uncontrollably, with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, the big sellers have started collecting money from the pockets of the people.
Melons fetching Rs. Bananas are being sold at Rs 80 to Rs 120, summer at Rs 100 to Rs 120 and watermelons at Rs 50 to Rs 60 per kg. Disgruntled shopkeepers say that the fruits available in the market cannot be sold at low prices. In the holy month, while the prices of fruits are skyrocketing, the prices of green spices in vegetables have also gone up. Green chillies, which fetch Rs 450 to Rs 80 per kg, are also being sold at Rs 150 to 180 per kg in different markets, due to which relief seekers are seen crying out for inflation in the urban markets.
