The month of Ramadan is not celebrated in Pakistan. The first fast will be on April 25. The Central and Zonal Route Hilal Committees met to hold the month of Ramadan. However, no evidence of moon sightings has been received.Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Chairman Central Route Hilal Committee, was presiding over the central meeting at Met Office Karachi while meetings of zonal committees were also held in other provinces.The main meeting was also attended by meteorologists and for the first time a representative of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
