Teams from the Civil Aviation and Sindh Health Departments screened corona virus at the Jinnah terminal for passengers arriving in Karachi. According to CAA sources, a team from Sindh Health Department also conducted a medical examination of the passengers. Samples are being obtained for corona virus testing of all passengers.
Sources said that till the test reports are received, the passengers will be kept in isolation for 48 hours for which most of the passengers have been shifted to the government quarantine center of Labor Flats located on Northern Bypass while He has been allowed to stay in hotels at Karachi Airport and Shara Faisal where he will be under police surveillance.
Passengers arriving at Jinnah Terminal from Karachi to Dubai were fully screened and their luggage was sprayed with disinfectant. In addition, Qatar Airways flight is also arriving in Karachi on the night of June 2 at half past one.
